I'm am so excited to have this opportunity to share with you all of the beautiful artwork created by our students. I learn so much from them every day as they use their imagination to solve creative problems. In the process we answer deep questions like "What does the tooth fairy look like?" and "How can we communicate using visual art?" It is a pleasure to guide, inspire, listen and learn along with my students each day. -Mrs. Charles

Artists are Reflective
2nd graders discussed the artist Pablo Picasso and his "blue period". Our young artists reflected on how important it is to talk about sad and happy feelings. Art can be a great way to explore feelings. Here are some of their paintings in only shades of blue.
Artists are Caring
1st graders thought about what makes a house a home as they made these origami houses. A peek inside will give you a clue!
