4th grade made coil pots and they have returned from the pottery firing store!

Kindergarteners learned one way to tell a story by using puppets. Their "wild thing" puppets have lots of texture which is one of the elements of art.

2nd graders discussed the artist Pablo Picasso and his "blue period". Our young artists reflected on how important it is to talk about sad and happy feelings. Art can be a great way to explore feelings. Here are some of their paintings in only shades of blue.

Second graders are learning about the elements of art. Today they made sandpaper mono prints which show texture, an important element of art!

1st graders explored both warm and cool colors. They overlapped colors of each kind and drew pictures on top which illustrate how those colors make them feel.
